Currently, about 30 people are working here at Human Aid. Goods handling, repairing and configuring computers, sorting, and packing, clothes, shoes, furniture, medical equipment, and all kind of equipment for handicapped people, are some of the tings we do here.

Our co-workers are partial employee at Salvation Army, partial unemployed people who help us, trough our agreement with the employment office and trade unions.

Our goal is to help people in need in Eastern Europe, Asia, India and south Africa and trough co-working with other organizations co-ordinate resources, so we together can offer improved care and education.
By taking advantage of things that people throw away an no longer want, such as clothes, computer equipment, furniture and so on, we also contribute to a better environment, trough recycling. By co-operating with the employment office, we also help unemployee to get a meaningful empolyment.

Some examples:

  • Food for starving people, especially old people and children.
  • Producing children clothes and blankets for exposed children, and packages for infants. Theese packages includes fabric diapers, sweaters, toys, soap, blankets and some more
  • Sorting and puts in order clothes, disability aids, computers, school materials, medical care material and so on for further transports to needy.
